Bill and Matthew relax on the walkway in front of our room. Bill and Matthew relax on the wall of the walkway in front of our canyonside room at the Bright Angel Lodge. We spent two days there to show Matthew some of the attractions.< The twin peaks that you see behind them are Isis Temple on the left and Buddha Temple on the right. Below Isis Temple, and just to the left of Bill is Cheops Pyramid, a name thought to have been given by George W. James. The structure looks like a pyramid when viewed from the river, but not from up on the rim. In the far distant back ground, seeming to be right over Bill's head is the Dragons Head, and above and beyond it is Tiyo Point of the North Rim. |
