 Hance Rapids Hance Rapids is located the foot of the Red Canyon Trail. From here The Escalante Route heads west to Unkar Creek overlook (7 miles) and beyond that to Tanner Rapids and the Tanner and Beamer trails (10 miles). Hance Rapids also marks the beginning of the Tonto Platform to the west and the Tonto Trail which snakes along atop it. |
