We started flying over the Grand Canyon unfortunately I am sitting on the wrong side of the plane and the selt belt light is on. I tried to get up to look out the other side and the stewardess told me I should not be starting. I know if I was sitting on the other side I probably would have been able to see Thunder River and Deer Creek. Just my luck. I did get to see some of the western end of the Canyon as that portion tends to dip to the south more than the eastern portion. I dont recognize anything though... possible Diamond Creek, where we took out from our river trip in 97.

17:00 - Grand Canyon, south rim

We arrived before sunset but the sky is pretty well socked in with clouds and we are not going to see anything anyway.

21:00 - Maswik Lodge

We had a wonderful dinner and drinks, with Sue and Tom, at the Arizona Room.
