Dont sleep well. Woke up around 1:30 and slept a little off and on until I finally decided to get up. Pack up gear and put in car. Go to breakfast at El Tovar. Do tourist stuff. Drive out to Grandview Point.

13:23 - Grand Canyon Village

Get sandwhich at general store and go over to rim to eat. Back to car to get camera and then head back to rim.

14:00 - Bright Angel Lodge

Met Mike, Chuck and John on the patio of the Bright Angel Lodge while I was going to get ice cream. They are an hour early and it is amazing that they found me so quickly. Start drive out to South Bass trailhead.

16:00 - South Bass trailhead

Setup camp, eat dinner. Windy and cool. Sit in truck for a while and talk until dark and then go to sleep in tents.
