I arrived at Grand Canyon late afternoon just in time to catch the last couple of hours of sunlight on the Canyon.

I also learned about the heavy rains that the area had been having and would have to go over to the Backcountry Office in the morning to check the conditions on the road out to the South Bass trailhead.
